A Surfers Paradise junior and talented youth basketball player, Jesse White came to Southport Sharks in 2005. He was in the undefeated Queensland U18 National Champion team before being drafted in 2006 to Sydney Swans. He played a total of 127 games for Sydney and Collingwood and was an AFL Rising Star nominee in 2009. After a brief break from AFL at the end of 2017, he returned to the game, playing in the SANFL for Glenelg.
